KADESH MICRO K ANTI-STATIC 3-PANEL BOOT

REF: 35B16CPT2PR20-ANT

World Kadesh Micro K antistatic, black, with dual density PU/PU sole. Made from 1,8 mm microfiber with 2D fabric lining and antistatic insole. Ideal for electrically sensitive environments such as factories and laboratories.

Available Sizes

34 to 47

UPPER
Made from water-repellent microfiber, 1,8 mm thick, with a tongue and collar made of synthetic material, a tie closure with polyester laces, and single, double, and quadruple stitching.

LINING
Shaft lining in 2D fabric with circular weave and dubbed with non-woven fabric to generate greater internal softness of the shoe, sweat-wicking lining in breathable non-woven fabric, and counter in thermoactivated resin material.

INSOLE
Insole assembled using the strobel system in non-woven material with antistatic/dissipative properties. Internal finishing insole (oversole) in non-woven material with antistatic/dissipative properties, which forms a link with the strobel insole to conduct static energy from the body, and which provides comfort to the feet. This finishing insole helps absorb impact in the sole region of the feet when walking.

SOLE
Dual-density PU/PU sole injected directly into the upper, providing greater comfort, lightness and abrasion resistance. It has the following characteristics: (compact sole with hardness 50 to 65 ShoreA, molded density 1,10 g/cm3, midsole with hardness 39 to 50 ShoreA, density 0,37 g/cm3). Wider drainage channels, grip grooves for better mobility when walking. Antistatic or dissipative footwear, whose symbol is A (ESD), prevents, removes or reduces the formation of static electricity in the body.

*Using this PPE is therefore very important, because it protects the worker by preventing ignition sparks from gases in the environment; burning of circuit boards or other electronic parts.

MORE INFORMATION
Antistatic footwear, also known as “dissipative” footwear, is designed to protect the user from electrostatic charges, which is the accumulation of electrical charges that can manifest itself in any material – including our bodies. When this occurs, we say that the body or object is “charged”. This occurs mainly through the process of friction between materials, where a discharge is necessary for the body to return to being electrically balanced or neutral.

These shoes are important for those who work in environments where static electricity is a problem, such as factories, laboratories, and electronics manufacturing facilities. They have soles made of materials that dissipate electrical charges, such as conductive rubber or polyurethane. This prevents the build-up of static electricity on the wearer’s body and reduces the risk of damage to sensitive equipment, and mitigates the risk of explosion or fire.

But, BE CAREFUL! Anti-static footwear cannot be used by electricians: they are used to release electrostatic energy frequently, which could cause serious damage when coming into contact with electricity.

DESCRIPTION OF OPTIONAL COMPONENTS

COMPOSITE TOE CAP
Made with a polymer blend (mechanical mixtures of different plastics), without metal components, resistant to impacts of 200J and 15KN, with a polypropylene finishing edge to prevent injuries/cuts to the toes and/or nails.
