Sustainability is increasingly integrated into our business plans. We have adopted biodegradable plastic packaging to mitigate our environmental footprint. Some of our most notable positive impacts stem from the company’s solid commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions as part of our climate management planning.
To achieve this, we leverage clean, renewable energy and hold renewable energy certifications. We also perform continuous monitoring as required by our licensing conditions, consistently remaining well within regulatory emission standards.
Since electricity consumption represents a major source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, selecting our power source provides an excellent opportunity to reduce our carbon footprint. Through renewable energy, we achieve a reduction of 100.67 tCO2 equivalent, avoiding emissions equal to the carbon offset of 705 trees over 30 years in a reforestation project.
Additionally, we partner with environmental solutions providers to run a waste management program that fully complies with current legal parameters. We are also committed to a recycling program that collects over 8,900 kg of recyclable materials annually. Sustainable thinking is the path forward for a fairer, more viable human existence.
In practice, for Kadesh, sustainability means finding ways to leverage natural, economic, and human resources without depleting them or compromising the livelihood of future generations.
