Warranty

Objective

The purpose of this warranty policy is to provide information regarding proper footwear care, as well as to assure clients of product replacement for any manufacturing defects, provided that such defects are identified by the company’s technical laboratory and fall within the terms outlined below.

Warranty Period

All product lines from Kadesh Equipamentos Profissionais carry a 90-day warranty in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Art. 26, item II), with the exception of Metatarsal Line products made of croupon leather for use in Sugar and Ethanol Mills and Agricultural Areas, which carry a 30 (thirty) day warranty period (Art. 26, item I) due to the harsh environmental conditions and the effects of sucrose.

Any other footwear lines lack warranty coverage when deployed in the aforementioned environments.

The warranty’s limitation period begins upon actual delivery of the product (invoice issuance), as set forth in Article 26, § 1 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code.

Circumstances Leading to Warranty Voidance

  • Defects arising from chemical exposure that may affect the sole or upper structure of the footwear;
  • Damage resulting from poor maintenance, improper sanitization, or normal wear and tear;
  • Defects caused by improper footwear use or unauthorized modification of its components;
  • Defects due to prolonged storage in hot and humid conditions that may trigger sole hydrolysis;
  • Defects caused by excessive moisture and sun drying that lead to leather hardening and degradation.

Technical Support

Defective products may be sent to the company’s laboratory for technical analysis, provided that the need to ship the footwear for a more detailed evaluation is established. Prior to shipping the product, the customer must contact the company to report the issue and submit images of the defect along with the manufacturing date, which can be found on the tongue or back of the footwear.

If it is confirmed that the defect stems from manufacturing, the product will be replaced for the client at no additional cost.

Please Note

Electrical insulating footwear provides protection for the specified service voltage of 500 V in dry environments, in compliance with the ABNT NBR 16603:2017 standard.
However, the warranty will be voided in the event of successive voltage surges, meaning the footwear must be replaced immediately after the initial surge.
