Do you know which NRs will be discussed in 2025?

Regulatory Standards (NRs) do not have a single update date for 2025, but several standards are undergoing revision, and some have already seen changes impacting this year, such as NR-1, which now includes psychosocial risk assessments.
The regulatory agenda for 2025 features a robust schedule for reviewing and updating 27 normative texts of the NRs. The final CTPP meeting is scheduled for December 9th and 10th.

Standards Under Discussion This Year:
  • NR-04: Revision of the Specialized Services in Safety and Occupational Medicine (SESMT).
  • NR-05: Update of the Internal Commission for Accident and Harassment Prevention (CIPA).
  • NR-10: General revision of Safety in Electrical Installations and Services.
  • NR-11: Transport, Movement, Storage, and Handling of Materials.
  • NR-15: Updates to the annexes on heat, biological agents, and chemical products. The revision of Annex III, which addresses heat, is particularly relevant for workers exposed to high temperatures, such as in outdoor environments. The adoption of technologies like cooling garments, body temperature sensors, and automated hydration systems may become common market solutions.
  • NR-16: Discussion on hazardous activities, including aircraft refueling and motorcycle-based work.
The inclusion of specific rules for motorcycle activities reflects the importance of preventing accidents in one of the most hazardous sectors of the labor market. The use of technologies such as tracking devices and emergency communication systems, along with more robust training, must be considered.
  • NR-20: Revision on fuels, including aircraft refueling.
  • NR-24: Sanitary and Comfort Conditions in the Workplace, focusing on living areas inside containers.
  • NR-35: Work at Heights, featuring discussions on ladders.
